We are about to begin housing people!
That means that we need new to slightly-used:
- furniture sets (to outfit 10, single-bedroom apartments)
- housewares such complete utensil sets, plates, toaster ovens, etc.
- non-perishable food items
- household cleaning supplies
- toiletries
- linens (towels, blankets, sheets, pillows)
It is also our hope to help people really feel and know that they are being welcomed back into our community. Part of successful reintegration is empowering people in their own life choices and helping them to regain self-esteem and self-respect. Being involved in the selection of donated items that are in decent shape is a first step in that process.
While we appreciate every offer of willing in-kind donations, we do reserve the right to refuse offered donations that are too care-worn.
