Community Support
Over 300 volunteers are needed to train and become small teams of support to increase successful housing stability for those families and persons housed through Heading Home.
Age Requirement: 21+
Training Attendance Required: yes, but not until after Survey Week (time/dates to be determined)
Other Requirements: Training will equip you with all the skills you need (as part of a team) to be a good ally. You must be able to commit to supporting at least one household, following training, for one year.
Move In Teams
Volunteers are needed to assist in setting up homes (selecting and moving in furniture and household items).
Age Requirement: none
Training Attendance Required: no

Transportation Teams
Volunteers are needed to assist managing transportation challenges to and from medical/service appointments.
Age Requirement: 18+
Training Attendance Required: no, but must possess valid driver’s license and insurance
