Housing someone who has experienced homelessness is a tough task, especially when that person has no belongings to make their new home feel like a home. That’s why we’re helping those who are newly housed with new sets of furniture and housewares with the help of local vendors and donations from the community.
With our goal to house 75 of the most vulnerable people experiencing homelessness, we need your help to raise money to furnish new apartments and give those in need a place to call home.
If you would like to help, we’re looking for groups of people to help raise $50,000 from now until we house the 75th person. It costs $1,100 to outfit a home with furniture. It costs $500 to outfit a home with housewares. Anyone can help – create a sponsor team and sponsor a move-in! Get your friends, family, office mates and church to help create a new home for someone newly housed. You can also click on the Click to Give button at the top of the page to contribute individually.
Furniture and houseware donations are also accepted and stored for transport at a later date. Please check out our Housewares-Needs Checklist to see how you can help. We will not accept items that are too care-worn.
