Cutting Out Homelessness is an annual fundraising campaign in which over one hundred Albuquerque hair stylists join forces to help end homelessness. Participating salons and barbershops host creative in-store activities to raise funds and awareness for the Albuquerque Heading Home Housing Initiative.

2015

This year our hair heroes moved and inspired us all with their efforts! This was the biggest and most successful Cutting Out Homelessness campaign to date! The 127 stylists and barbers helped raise more than $10,000 for Albuquerque Heading Home. This money will pay for an entire family to be housed for a full year and receive supportive wrap-around services.

Square Root Salon, the original founders of Cutting Out Homelessness, raised the most amount of money, as a result they’ll be treated to a night on the town, generously provided by Krazy Bus and Rudy’s.
